This wonderful dish reminds me of my father who used to make it during the Christmas holidays. Inangit is also great when serve with sampelot (ginataan).
Ingredients:
1 c malagkit (glutinous rice)
3 c coconut milk
1 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
Wash malagkit rice thouroughly. Boil using the coconut milk (first extract). Add salt and sugar. Cook over low fire stirring occassionally. Cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until soft and chewy.

E ya Dakal ing gata para ke tang malagkit a nasi nung iyabe miya? Balamu masyadu yang malambut. E ke pa sibukan nilutu. Pota mayadu yang malata ing kalabasan na.
2 cups coconut milk is enough
Ok yamu ba nung haluan keng abyas?
Oyne ing recipe ning kaluguran ku kapampangan:
3 cups malagkit rice
1 1/4 cup coconut milk
1 cup water
White sugar
Salt
Do not wash the rice. Combine malagkit, gata and danum in a rice cooker; mix. Cover the rice cooker and turn it on. Let the mixture cook until done. Take the cooked mixture out of the rice cooker and transfer to a container (big enough to mix it with salt & sugar). The addition of salt and sugar depends on your taste.
Transfer the inangit to a platter; flatten the top with an oiled spatula. Top with latik or toasted unsweetened shredded coconut (optional).
Ekepa nilutu ini...sulu kang ke ngeni.
"Subukan ke ngeni" not " sulu kang ke ngeni"... Sorry, my IPad's keyboard is tired and hungry, lol!
